A foreign woman asks a little girl how many brothers and sisters she has. The girl answers: "I have as many brothers as sisters." Her brother, however, tells the woman that has as got twice as many sisters as brothers. How many boys and girls belong to their family?

The Juice Dealers

Two juice dealers get 10 pints of a brandnew juice out noone had never ever sold before. Each of them wants to take home 8 pints in order bottle it and to sell the juice in his shop. In order to sort out which quantity equals to 8 pints they only have two jars at their disposal: one 10 pint jar and one 6 pint jar. They are only allowed to take the juice home if they are able to exactly divide it using these jars. They must not schätzen. What can they do in order to get the juice?
